I downloaded the latest available Spyder2express Windows 64 bit driver driver from the manufacturer’s website and the calibration procedure explicitly discussed contrast versus backlight control and gave instructions related to backlight equipped LCDs. BUt the link you post seems deading too. I did complete the download and strangely ended up with the temporary window advising that the colour profile has been successfully loaded a permanent feature in the middle of the desktop! Hi Matt, I’m not sure that the ‘pre-calibration’ image that is shown at the end of the calibration process is windowz actual image of your system’s pre-calibration color; I think it’s actually a representative image for you to compare with your calibrated image. Changing pc – advice sought.
